Big Music Nights are charitable events featuring East Anglian artists. Starting at the Suffolk Punch, Ipswich in March 2001, it continues now with twice yearly performances at a larger venue, the Loraine Victory Hall at Bramford, near Ipswich.

Around ten acts perform a wide variety of acoustic material including Folk, Bluegrass, sea shanties, self-penned songs, unaccompanied singing, instrumentals and even humorous recitations. Many of these performers are featured guests at music events and it is to their credit that they give their services free, often travelling considerable distances. All proceeds, after expenses, go to Folk Music workshops in local schools.
